Last night was our granddaughter, Baylee's, first birthday. I can't believe that it has been a year already. Crazy how fast the time goes. Seems just like yesterday this beautiful little person entered our world. She is very dainty and absolutely adorable! She was given her very own cake at the party and this was as dirty as she got. Baylee doesn't like to be dirty. Just thought I would share what we got to do yesterday, fun stuff!

Happy birthday to Baylee! She is a total cutie pie. That cake looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteHope the weather is being friendly, Heather. Cheers.
Almost forgot. Congrats on the Star!! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to the little one!
ReplyDeleteAnother Pisces. A good sign to be born under for a future gardener.
ReplyDeleteGrand daughter?!! Wow! Grandma looks like a teenager! Happy birthday to Baylee!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the kind wishes!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute. Her hair is so long, my girls were still almost bald at one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful child Baylee is - she's really enjoying the cake in that picture! I agree with Tatyana, I could not believe you have a grandbaby!
ReplyDeleteBaylee is a doll!! Do you think she'll mind getting dirty in the garden?!
ReplyDeleteLike the others, I had to re-read the line about you being a grandparent. I just turned 52 (yesterday!) and our oldest is still in college, and we have a 12 yr. old son! Makes me feel ancient thinking about the day I might really get to be a grandparent!
Awww, you are all so nice. Baylee is the daughter of my stepdaughter, Nichole. We love having a baby in the family and it is truly so much easier than having more myself. That one is officially off the table with the arrival of Miss Baylee. My baby fix has been great!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. My granddaughter just turned 3 and she has a baby brother due in May. They add so much joy to our lives.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Baylee and how sweet!! She looks happy with that cake. Great she lives close by. My nearly two year old grandson lives several states away. That's funny she doesn't like to be dirty-it's cake! Did you tell her cake doesn't count and to dig in? Have a great weekend! I hope the birthday girl is playing with all her new presents and enjoying time with everyone.
ReplyDeleteToo cute. Peanut was the same way. Son would've had that cake all over him though. Funny how kids are all so different. Time sure does fly, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteHow sweet!! Looks like she had a good time...even staying clean! LOL
ReplyDeleteHeather,
ReplyDeleteGlad you explained that your not old enough to actually be a grandmother. Cause I didn't think the math worked out for you to be one. Congrats just the same!
Thanks for putting Baylee on your blog. Her Birthday was very special, maybe next year she will be better at diving into the cake. Lol
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Baylee!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is born on January 23rd 2008, so her party was like almost two months ago!
I know how it is to have a little person in your life that changes everything! It's incredibile!
