Wow! Will you ever need to go to the grocery store? Ha ha! Good for you, Heather!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Heather, I was also surprised that I have almost run out of space too, although I think I have enough planted to feed the whole neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling! Behind my garden, I am going to have a small (6 x 12 maybe, haven't measured) area just for container gardening with mostly recycled stuff!
ReplyDeleteYou're off to a great start with all of those!
ReplyDeleteLOL!! I can barely believe my eyes of what you have accomplished since I last visited. Oh, my goodness! You are a force to be reckoned with! I can't wait to see what you do next! :) Bravo!
ReplyDeleteI would love your raised beds here. You have so much growing already. If you had two new raised beds you would just fill them up too :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG it looks so good! I don't think you'll have any problems weeding it in this form. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThere's never enough beds! We add to our garden every year, and have to bring in topsoil as the area near our house was dozed down to clay and rock by the previous owners. Can't wait to see yours when they are full of green color!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather~~ Aren't you just loving this sunshine? Your raised beds look marvelous.
ReplyDeleteHeather, your garden looks amazing. Can't wait to see how it develops over the next few months.
ReplyDeleteOh, you are a wonder! I can barely put up the harvest from our raised beds, and YOURS are...wow, just wow. Plus the new row garden! It's such fun to be sharing the growing season with you.
ReplyDeleteim impressed with how organized you are! we are so willy nilly all over the place. it looks great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful garden and raised beds. I started veggie gardening last year for the first time and didn't do raised beds... I just enriched the existing soil. Everything did well, but could have done better, so this year I'm going to do some raised beds of some sort. Your blog is so informative and inspirational!

Just look at all those raised beds! How cool is that. They are a lot of work to put in, but once you have them--wahoo!. I gave up on them because they seem to require some method of regular irrigation. I mean... all gardens require that, but raised beds start showing stress sooner, and I think that having a good supply of irrigation water is even more essential for sucess with them. Our well is shallow, and having to water a lot of garden just doesn't work for me. Do you try mixed plantings in them?
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! That's a lot of work.....looks great!
ReplyDeleteEver think of moving? I have 25 acres of prime crop land that could use your touch :)
ReplyDeleteLove your raised beds!! They're so much better for pest control. And don't worry about having too many vegetables- if your friends and family are anything like mine, they'll take them off your hands! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Heather, I grew the colorful swiss chard last year and it was a big hit! My brussel sprouts..not so much. I'm envious you will have asparagus..nothing beats them fresh out of the garden. Can't wait to see them beds mature!
ReplyDeleteNice list of cool weather plants. I'd be intimidated by a row garden too, but just because I've never done it that way.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather!
ReplyDeleteYou are getting so much done. You are an inspiration. I can't wait to see everything as it all starts to grow. Cheers! Beth
Awesome raised bed garden area! And lots of great veggies that you have planted. I can't wait to see what this looks like in just a couple of months!
