LOL. I was very ambitious and jumped into projects with both feet. Now that I'm older I'm more selective about my 'projects'. :-) But hubby is still good to humor me most of the time.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15539232387597508849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6056175194573952795.post-73943964722425630112009-04-14T16:42:00.000-06:002009-04-14T16:42:00.000-06:00Good job, Heather. Large trees are not as abundant any more, I guess. I am so happy people are salvaging the old, used materials for reuse. Smart idea to reuse the freezer, too. That saves a large chunk from going to the land fill. Good idea.Barbee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/11316077390373348067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6056175194573952795.post-70295686265570841642009-04-14T07:24:00.000-06:002009-04-14T07:24:00.000-06:00What a thrifty idea. I've mentioned getting chickens to Cheesehead a few times but he trumps me every time with the zoning restrictions for livestock. Do you think I could pass a couple of chickens off as pets?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09582157624382487302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6056175194573952795.post-34013796624004802322009-04-14T06:52:00.000-06:002009-04-14T06:52:00.000-06:00Whatever you do don't go and name the eating chick...Whatever you do don't go and name the eating chickens. Griller is still in the freezer since my wife doesn't have the heart to eat him. It's funny too since she was the one who killed and dressed them.

We only raised a dozen and keep ours 'free range' in a movable pen. We moved the pen twice a day to keep the ground clean of droppings and the chickens loved picking through the fresh 'grass' for little buggy tidbits.wiseacrehttp://wiseacre-gardens.com/wordpressnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6056175194573952795.post-86290409139685999342009-04-14T06:20:00.000-06:002009-04-14T06:20:00.000-06:00This looks just great, Heather!
